FLAT ROCK, MI - The 24 Hours of LeMons concluded at 2PM, Sunday, September 30, 2007 after twenty-three hours and forty-five minutes. The finishing order was:

1. Bernie's Revenge (TrackAddicts.net) 2433 laps
2. Car and Driver (Tony Swaaaaan) 2383 laps
3. The Latch-Key Kids 2350 laps

Forty teams entered the competition, with thirty-nine successfully taking the green flag to start the race.

Team TrackAddicts started from the pitlane in last place due to a last-minute repair session to fix a damaged fuel line and re-route the exhaust to comply with LeMons regulations.

After considerable effort on the part of the team, their 1986 Celica Supra had caught up to the first-place team, an RX-7 operated by Car and Driver. Tony Swan, the driver of the RX-7, was pressured into damaging the car, allowing TrackAddicts to take first place at approximately the nineteen-hour mark. Strong work from the final two drivers and the crew ensured that TrackAddicts crossed the line with fifty laps in hand.

The team was awarded $1500 in nickels and a silhouette of copulating rabbits, which was welded to the Supra's roof earlier in the event.

More information to follow.

Unbelievable.

Who would have thought our motley crew could have pulled off something like this? Talk about working together as a team. Everyone went beyond the call of duty to pull off the coup of the racing season.

We showed teams with better equipment and more depth of talent that focused determination and hard work really does pay off.

Teammates, you have my gratitude. It was a real joy to work with such a motivated and talented team.

I still can't believe we did this...

Phenomenal comes to mind. The ridiculous grin on my face should convey how excited and proud of all our team and efforts I am.

It was the thrill of my racing life to date. I cannot wait to get into more wheel to wheel racing.

I have video clips of all drivers except myself of course, and will be posting it up asap. --if anyone has means of hosting the high quality files, that'd be groovalicious but until then, youtube will have to do.

Nice shirt Brian, way to be imortalized in a picture.

It's good to know that Machiavellianism and money can't buy you out of suck.
That's all I have time for, more after sleep.

It was a privilege and an honor, gentlemen!

What can i say that hasn't been said already.

I wish I could properly convey how proud I am of EACH AND EVERY member of this team. EVERYONE (including some of spectators) did what they were supposed to do and much much more in most cases.

The work that was done, from fixing fenders and welding exhausts to making food and doing fuel runs, were the reasons we drivers could go out and log the laps.

I'll post more after some sleep.

One of my fondest memories: Brian finally being able to do his burnout in front of Tony Swaaaaaaan!

This cannot be said loudly enough, or enough times. I joke about the CnD suck, but here's the facts:
We went up against a team who had 2 previous LeMons races under their belt. They were not strangers to driving, they had much MUCH more money, AND they tried every underhanded trick they could, short of stabbing all of us as we slept.

We still beat them, by allot, our first time out, with 3 door-to-door rookies. There is no word in the dictionary for that, other than "733t".

I can't say how sorry I am for not making it up there, I really wanted to and I'm really kicking myself about it. What can I say though, some stuff came up and plans had to change Sad

Congrats on the win though guys! Maybe next year I be I can be a bit more involved as I won't be in school. Plus I still have that nice Koni discount at work...

I can see about making you a FTP account on my website. I get 3500 GB of bandwidth a month and have yet to even use a percent.

Way to go, Lemons team! The amount of effort put into this event is nothing short of phenomenal. If only I had a time machine and could have decided to go to Lemons rather than Topeka!

It was great working with everyone on the team! And I still can not quite believe we pulled it of. Kevin deserves special recognition for his effort. Not only did he help keep our car running but I know he helped at least 4 other teams to repair their cars.

Awesome doughnuts Brian. The guys in big name motorsports should come to you for lessons.

Mark, you also forgot the last minute rear brake repairs. That really held us up more than the fuel line repairs (and now I know where those lines run at least!).

To the drivers: awesome job Exclamation

To the crew: brilliant Exclamation We did a full tire change 19 hours into the race in 3 minutes (I am told) with no practice and a car that was parked 45 degrees sideways from where we wanted it.
